Jan Theuninck [Poeta e Pintor Belga]

Jan Theuninck (Zonnebeke, 7 de junio de 1954), pintor y poeta belga (seudónimo: Orc ).

Theuninck es un pintor minimalista y poeta comprometido que busca denunciar las injusticias sociales y la violación sistemática de los derechos humanos.

Aunque nació en Zonnebeke, Bélgica, y un hablante nativo de la lengua neerlandesa, escribe en francés y en Inglés de vez en cuando.

Su pintura es abstracta, en un lugar entre el minimalismo y monocromo
Como pintor, ha sido influenciado por Ellsworth Kelly y Joan Miró.

Su obra, tanto en los medios de comunicación se guía por sus convicciones políticas y sociales. Se ocupa de temas como el colonialismo viejo y lo nuevo, la masa y la sociedad, y el pacifismo.
