Justin Rowe [Escultor Britânico]

Justin Rowe é um artista / escultor de  Cambridge. Depois de se formar  em Norwich School of Art em 1998, ele começou a trabalhar para a Cambridge University Press como um livreiro acadêmico. Em 2010, a tarefa de criar um original e atraente vitrine de Natal, Justin começou uma série de esculturas de livros inspirados pelo povo e imagens de conto de fadas. As esculturas foram leiloadas para caridade.

No Outono de 2011, Justin criou 12 novas esculturas para a livraria baseado na canção Inglês, os doze dias do Natal. As esculturas foram doadas como prêmios de rifa em nome da caridade locais Moinho Romsey. 

Justin está atualmente exibindo novas esculturas e fazendo obras encomendadas para vários clientes...

Os livros são a fonte de todo o seu trabalho, que são cortados à mão livre como um bisturi e montados com goma arábica.

Based just outside Cambridge, Justin Rowe studied for a BA in Cultural Studies at the Norwich School of Art and Design in the late nineties.

Books are the source for all of his work, which are cut free-hand with a scalpel and assembled with gum Arabic. Some pieces feature Gold or Palladium leaf, found imagery and lights. The source book is usually the inspiration for a piece.

Justin is currently in negotiations with the publisher Hodder to produce a pop-up book.
